MY Gypsy is an 80-foot, or 24.3-metre, motor yacht created for exploration and extended journeys around the Philippines.

The yacht normally accommodates up to eight guests across four cabins. For selected full charters, arrangements for one additional guest may be available, subject to confirmation.

Its small capacity creates a more personal atmosphere on board. Guests have more space to relax, prepare their equipment, enjoy meals, and spend time together between dives.

MY Gypsy was fully refitted in 2021 by Dutch boatbuilder Frank van der Linde, with interiors designed by Simone Schuil.

Deck Layout

Flybridge

The flybridge is one of the yacht’s main relaxation areas.

Upper Deck

The yacht carries emergency oxygen on both the main vessel and the diving dinghy. It is also equipped with safety and emergency equipment for guests and crew.

MY Gypsy is equipped with Seakeeper gyro stabilisers, which are designed to reduce the yacht’s rolling movement and provide a more comfortable journey.

While no vessel can completely remove movement at sea, the stabilisation system can make longer crossings and time at anchor more comfortable for guests.

Travellers who are prone to seasickness should still bring suitable medication and consult a medical professional before departure when necessary.

Dining on Board

Diving can build a healthy appetite, and meals are an important part of the liveaboard experience.

Guests can enjoy a selection of international and locally inspired dishes prepared by the onboard team.

Depending on the itinerary and daily schedule, meals may include:

MY Gypsy operates across different regions of the Philippines, depending on the season, weather, and scheduled itinerary.

Possible routes may include:

Tubbataha and Cagayancillo

Selected seasonal expeditions may visit Tubbataha Reefs Natural Park and Cagayancillo.

Tubbataha is known for its remote coral atolls, dramatic walls, healthy reefs, sharks, rays, turtles, and large schools of fish.

Because the park is only accessible during a limited season, these expeditions require early planning.

This route can combine several very different diving environments.

Dauin is known for muck diving and fascinating macro life, while Malapascua is famous for thresher-shark encounters.

Bohol and nearby islands add coral walls, reefs, and opportunities to see a wide variety of tropical marine life.

Longer itineraries may connect several of the Visayas’ best-known diving areas.
