Pura Vida Beach & Dive Resort is located on the south coast of Negros Island, steps from Sea Explorers Dauin.

The beachfront resort is comprised of thatched-roof buildings dotted around a well-kept garden area with palm trees and gravel pathways. There are two locations for the all-day restaurant; above the dive center and on the beachfront. Buffet breakfast is served each day above the dive center and includes international favorites plus juices, fruits and breads. There is a pool with bamboo sun loungers overlooking the ocean, a large fitness center and traditional spa.

Garden Rooms • ₱6,000 per night

The 10 air-conditioned bamboo cottages are located at the rear portion of the resort. All rooms come with a balcony offering a nice view over the beautiful garden in the center. The two single beds can be arranged into one matrimonial bed but there are also 3 standard rooms with a king-size double bed. Furthermore, a small cable TV, minibar refrigerator, in-room safe, and a coffee and tea making facility can be found in each room.
All bathrooms are tiled and feature hot and cold shower for your convenience.

Deluxe Rooms • ₱8,000 per night

The 12 Deluxe rooms are located in either double (10) or single (2) bungalow style houses which are situated around the pool area, up to the beach front. Each Deluxe room is equipped with a split-type air-conditioning, flat screen TV, and a minibar refrigerator. 8 of the 12 rooms are furnished with 2 comfortable single beds which can also be set up as a matrimonial bed while the remaining 4 rooms are equipped with one queen-size bed. The newly renovated rooms also feature a walk-in dressing room as well as comfortable bathrooms that provide a nice hot shower after a beautiful day of diving. Family Room (Hammerhead) • ₱12,000 per night

The Hammerhead family room features two twin beds which can be arranged into one matrimonial beds. Outside you can relax and enjoy a glass of wine at the large veranda with a view of the garden. The room is equipped with quiet split-type air-conditioning, mini-bar refrigerator, in-room safe, hot & cold shower and indoor bar with bar stools whereas the veranda is furnished with comfortable sofas, chairs, and tables.

Family Room (Moorish Idol & Blue Ring Octopus) • ₱12,000 per night

The Moorish Idol & Blue Ring Octopus Family room are 2 identical rooms with a connecting door in between. Moorish Idol is equipped with two (2) single beds whereas the Blue ring octopus features a queen sized bed. Each room has its own bathroom with hot & cold shower, air-conditioning, and a restful veranda facing the quiet garden and spa. This room is perfect for families who want to be close but still enjoy some privacy.

Family Room (Dolphin) • ₱12,000 per night

The Dolphin Family room is the largest room in Pura Vida featuring one (1) queen size bed and two (2) single beds with a small partition in between. The room is on the ground floor underneath the Suite and is therefore also wheelchair accessible. A natively furnished terrace offers a soothing garden view. The room comes with split-type air-conditioning, mini-bar refrigerator, in-room safe, complimentary water carafe, complimentary coffee and tea making facility, and flat screen cable TV. The bathroom features hot & cold shower and can be accessed from both sleeping areas.

Suite • ₱10,000 per night

The resort features 2 suite rooms (Stargazer & Birds Nest) and both are located on the 2nd floor above the family rooms. The spacious balconies feature a small bar including a mini-bar refrigerator as well as 2 sunbeds which offer a nice view over the tropical garden towards the pool and sea. Each Suite has a living room furnished with a beautiful set of one double and two single sofa chairs and a table made of high quality bamboo.

A king-size bed, a flat screen TV as well as a split air con to cool down the Suite to your preferred temperature will ensure you a good rest during the night. But before you settle in to sleep, you can enjoy the big bathtub with whirlpool or a just a shower in the suites’ comfortable and big bathroom which provides hot water as well as a double sink. Perfect for honeymooners, couples, and single travelers who simply want to pamper themselves.

Getting there

Arrival
One way to get to Dauin is via a pre-arranged transfer from Cebu International Airport. This can be arranged for you at an additional cost (advance notice required). From Cebu International Airport, you will travel to Liloan, Santander pier by car, and then onto Sibulan, Negros by ferry. From Sibulan, it is 1 hour’s drive by car to the resort. Overall, the journey will take around 5 hours.

If arriving in Manila, you may also take a connecting flight to Dumaguete Airport. Flight duration is roughly an hour. Sea Explorers can arrange to pick you up at the airport.

Another option is to enter the Philippines via Mactan Cebu International Airport, then take a 50-minute domestic flight to Dumaguete Airport.

The resort will arrange a transfer on your behalf to take you back to the airport for your flight home (advance notice required, additional cost).
