Open Water Diver Course
The PADI Open Water Diver Course is the first scuba certification level. It is the license that opens up a new world to you, the underwater world.
Sea Explorers is a 5-star CDC (Career Development Center). Our PADI Instructors will teach you the skills and knowledge to dive safely and explore this new world. They will teach with a smile and you will learn to Dive with a Smile.
PADI Open Water Diver Course at Sea Explorers Philippines
Diver Prerequisites
- 10 years old
Note: 10-14 year old divers earn a Junior Open Water Diver certification.
Certification Requirements
- Complete five knowledge development segments, including quizzes and final exam.
- Complete Confined Water Dives 1-5.
- Meet water skills assessment requirements.
- Complete Open Water Dives 1-4.
Open Water Diver with Physical Manual
- You will receive a physical manual to read and study.
- 4 days to complete the course.
Open Water Diver with Online Manual
Once your invoice is paid, we will send you a PADI Code. The code will allow online access to your digital PADI manual (it is not a pdf).
- You can study in advance of arrival in the Philippines.
- You have time to read the book and study at your own pace instead of spending time during your holiday in a classroom reading, studying, and taking quizzes.
- By completing your Knowledge Development prior to arrival in the Philippines, you will only need a minimum of 3 days to complete your PADI Open Water Course.
- Upon arrival at Sea Explorers, you can proceed with your Confined Water Training and your Open Water Dives with your Instructor.
