Buena Vida Resort & Spa is located on the beautiful island of Malapascua in the northern part of Cebu. Our location is set back 100 meters from the more active Bounty Beach, and instead, we are integrated into a beautiful tropical garden. At our sister resort Ocean Vida, we offer our in-house guests sunbeds and bean bags directly on Bounty Beach, next to the sea. Ocean Vida also offers a restaurant and a bar, and it’s very famous for watching the sunset or for a candlelit dinner on the beach. All our rooms are in the garden and equipped with air conditioning and a fan. The wooden terraces will give you extra room and serve as an open-air living space.

Our spacious 450sqm spa is located next to the reception area. The spa offers a wide range of massages, body treatments, facials, waxing and hand and foot treatments. Our daily yoga classes (except Sundays) are also popular among guests. Everyone is welcome here at Vida Yoga, from beginner to advanced yogis.

The eight Garden rooms are located in a nice two story building, with a spacious and private wooden terrace. The rooms have a maximum capacity of two adults.

Getting there

Arrival
The best way to arrive at the resort is to arrange a transfer in advance (advance notice required, additional cost). The resort’s driver will pick you up from Cebu International Airport and escort you to Maya, the most northern point of Cebu. From Maya, there will be a traditional outrigger boat that will bring you directly to Bounty Beach and from there, a staff member will welcome and accompany you into Buena Vida. Overall journey time from Mactan Cebu International Airport to Malapascua Island will take between 5-6 hours. Check-in time is at 2PM.

Our staff will organize your transfer back to Mactan Cebu International Airport (advance notice required, additional cost).
